Parliament has approved North Tongu MP, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, as the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.

Mr. Ablakwa was approved by majority consensus through a voice vote after the Minority boycotted the process.

The Minority cited concerns over the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) initiative, past controversies, and other issues.

Additionally, the House approved Dr. Rashid Pelpuo, MP for Wa; Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, MP for Nanton; Samuel Nartey George, MP for Ningo-Prampram; Kofi Adams, MP for Buem; and Joseph Bukari Nikpe, MP for Saboba.
