Ningo Prampram Member of Parliament (MP), Sam George, has expressed his unwavering support for his colleague, South Dayi MP and Majority Chief Whip, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor, following his suspension.

In a heartfelt message on X, Mr. George reflected on Mr. Dafeamekpor’s kind heart and humanity.

“My dear Brother, I stand with you in this moment of unfortunate adversity. You are a victim of your kind heart and humanity. You are a bulwark for our Caucus, and we stand shoulder to shoulder with you,” he eulogised.

Describing Dafeamekpor as a warrior, leader, and advocate, Mr. George also extended a goodwill message to his constituents.

“To the people of South Dayi, you gave us a warrior, a leader, an advocate, and a brother’s brother. Protect him for us. This storm too shall pass!”

“I am with you, @etsedafeamekpor,” George concluded, reaffirming his commitment to standing by his colleague during this difficult period.

Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin, on Friday, suspended Mr. Dafeamekpor and three other MPs for two weeks over the chaotic incident that marred the Appointments Committee session on Thursday.

The other affected MPs are Frank Annoh-Dompreh (Minority Chief Whip), Alhassan Sulemana Tampuli (Gushegu MP), and Jerry Ahmed Shaib (Weija-Gbawe MP).
