In a cherished tradition, the Kumasi unit of the Multimedia Group – Luv Fm and Nhyira Fm – gathered its employees, partners, and community members for its annual thanksgiving service.
This event, which has become a cornerstone of the company’s culture, serves as an opportunity to express gratitude to God for the past year and to look forward with renewed hope, especially as 2025 marks 30 years since the establishment of the business.
The thanksgiving service saw elated staff from all departments joining spirits in raising their voices in praise and worship, with soul uplifting songs.
Head Pastor of Miracle Manna Church, Pastor Joy Obed Obeng, who led the service, spoke of the power of moving out of one’s comfort zone and persevering to make a difference in society.
He encouraged the congregation to make God their portion in 2025 and beyond.
“It is my prayer that God will be our portion. If we want to see this organization move to the next level, there’s a need for us to step out of our tents. As we trust Him, let us have the confidence. I know that there are difficulties and dangers out there, but with faith and trusting in God as our portion, we will surely make it to the end,” he admonished.
Speaking on behalf of the Multimedia management team, News Editor, Kofi Adu Domfeh expressed deep gratitude to the entire team for being steadfast despite the challenges in the previous year.
He commended staff for the hard work and resilience to achieve success in the past year.
“This year, the Multimedia Group is 30years, a remarkable milestone in journalism and media excellence. As we commemorate our three decades of existence, we’ll continue to stay true to our values and commit to media excellence, integrity, and public service. As we come together in thanksgiving, we also pray for grace for business and personal growth and prosperity,” said Domfeh.
Other staff, who joined in the thanksgiving service, shared their experience working with The Multimedia Group and their expectations for the New Year.
Sampson Addo, popularly known as Alhaji, is the longest serving employee in Kumasi. He shared his experience working with the company for 30 years.
“The secret is simple; dedication. Working here is all about hard work, dedication and honesty. Because if you decide to follow money, you can’t work over here. Multimedia will give you a good platform to excel. It is a learning field. So far my blessings have been the good name I’ve gotten from working here,” he said.
Relationship Manager, Maxwell Frimpong Manso, also indicated that it had indeed been challenging in the past years, but draws inspiration from The Multimedia Group’s iconic motto: “Christ is at work.”
“I’ve been here for 2 decades. When it comes to the challenges in the media industry, Multimedia is no exception, but in all our motto is ‘Christ at Work’ and going forward, it’s still ‘Christ at work’,” he stated.
Kate Esi Dzadu, a Senior Relationship/Sales Officer is hopeful that Multimedia Group is going to be better hitting the 30-year mark.
“It’s been a great experience. I’ve been working here for 15 years. I can say that multimedia is the ideal space. 30 years is just one great step ahead. So our audience should just look out for the best. The experience has been great and we look forward to greater things ahead,” she said.
The event concluded with a collective prayer in seeking blessings for the year ahead and guidance in all endeavors.
The thanksgiving service is a testament to Multimedia Group’s commitment to celebrating every successful year and looking forward to its continued journey, grounded in gratitude and hope throughout the 30 years.
