‘NGO’ wins Lead Actor in a Comedy/Drama series at Ghana Movie Awards 2024

Actor and broadcaster, Nana Gyasi Owusu, known popularly as ‘NGO’, has picked up Best Lead Actor in Comedy/Drama series at the just-ended Ghana Movie Awards for his role in ‘Kejetia vs Makola’ series.

This is the actor’s second win for the role. In 2019, he won best supporting actor with the same TV drama.

To the actor, the win is a boost to his career which is on a rise.

“This is a reward for my hard work over the years. It will also urge me to do more in the coming years”, Nana Gyasi said.

Aside from starring in movies and TV series, the actor has starred in some stage plays.
