The Education Minister and Member of Parliament for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu, has criticized the actions of the Acting CEO of the Petroleum Commission, Emeafa Hardcastle, calling for a public apology and retraction over her conduct.

This comes in the wake of a viral video from the Parliamentary Appointments Committee, where Victoria Hardcastle, the Acting CEO, was allegedly seen engaging in an altercation with the MP for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh.

Meanwhile, Comfort Doyoe, the Leader of the Women’s Caucus in Parliament and First Deputy Whip of the Majority Group, has appealed to the Minority Chief Whip to withdraw his formal complaint to the Speaker of Parliament.

She assured that steps were being taken to address the matter and bring resolution to the controversy.
