Diaspora Property Expo 2025 U.S.A launched

The Diaspora Property Expo 2025 (DPE2025), an event dedicated to bridging the gap between real estate opportunities in Ghana and the vibrant Ghanaian diaspora in the U.S., has been officially launched at the Embassy of Ghana in Washington, D.C.

The theme of the event is “Gateway to Ghana: Unveiling Opportunities for Global Diaspora Investors.”

Diaspora Property Investment Ltd, the main organizers, in partnership with the Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA), the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia, and the Ministry of Works, Housing & Water Resources in Ghana, presented their mission, unveiled upcoming plans, and highlighted the objectives of DPE2025.

The expo is scheduled to take place at the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia from March 21 to March 23, 2025.

DPE2025 will showcase residential and commercial properties from Ghana’s leading developers.

Industry experts will offer workshops and one-on-one consultations on property investment, land acquisition, legal frameworks, and financing options—providing attendees with a clear pathway to property ownership and investment in Ghana.

In his address, the Executive Director of Diaspora Property Investment Ltd (DPI), Sidney Justin Tehoda, stated, “DPE2025 is not just about showcasing properties; it is about unlocking possibilities and delivering solutions. For the Ghanaian diaspora, this is your chance to invest in the home you dream of, create wealth, and contribute meaningfully to the development of the land of your heritage.”

HRM Nana Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII, Paramount Chief of Abradze State and Chairman of the DPE Board, added, “The Diaspora Property Expo is not just about bricks and mortar; it is about building dreams, creating sustainable communities, and strengthening the socio-economic ties that bind us as a people. We are here today because of the vision and determination of many individuals and organizations who have worked tirelessly to make this event a reality.”

Mrs. Anita Bediako, a U.S.-based real estate and Ghana property investor, shared an inspiring success story of property ownership in Ghana.

The launch event was officiated by HRM Nana Daasebre Kwebu Ewusi VII, Mr. Abu Usuman, Director of ECTIB at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Paul Cudjoe, Minister of Economic & Diaspora Affairs at the Ghana Embassy in Washington, D.C., and Mr. Thomas Young, President of the World Trade Center.

Others present included Nana Kwesi Atomu II, CEO of Atomu Africa Development Services, and Mr. Francis Gborglah, Acting Head of Mission at the Embassy of Ghana in Washington, D.C.

Some notable personalities in attendance were Verus Nartey, Project Director of the Diaspora Property Expo, and Julz Ossom, CEO of Aim2Impact, Canada.
