In a decisive move to address the ongoing conflict in Nkwanta South in the Oti Region, DCOP Abdul Razak Osman, the National Security Coordinator, has called for a comprehensive investigation into the unrest that has plagued the area for years.
DCOP Osman led a high-level government delegation to Nkwanta to restore peace and stability.
The conflict, which has heightened tensions among residents, has raised serious concerns about their safety and security.
DCOP Osman has tasked the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the police to conduct a thorough inquiry into the root causes of the conflict.
