Asante Kotoko has bolstered its squad with the addition of defender Daniel Adrian Adjetey. The 24-year-old has signed a one-and-a-half-year contract after successfully completing his medical examination.
Adjetey brings significant international experience to the Porcupine Warriors, having played for Danish club Naestved in Division 2 and BFC Daugavpils in Latvia’s top-tier league.
The versatile defender, known for his reliable defensive skills and ability to contribute offensively, began his career in Ghana with Nania FC, where he established himself as a solid right-back.
Adjetey is the club’s fourth signing during the current transfer window, joining Kwame Opoku, Samuel Eduku, and Isaac Mintah in strengthening the team.
After concluding the first round of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League, Asante Kotoko aims to make a strong push in the second round as they target the league title.
Adjetey is expected to feature in their next match against Karela United, a side battling relegation. The game is scheduled for Friday, January 24, at the Baba Yara Stadium.
