Education Minister-designate, Haruna Iddrisu, and Roads and Highways Minister-designate, Governs Kwame Agbodza, are set to face Parliament’s Appointments Committee today for vetting.
The Tamale South and Adaklu MPs will be assessed based on their qualifications, vision, and plans for their respective portfolios.
Minister Designate, Ministry of Food and Agriculture and Asunafo South MP, Eric Opoku will also appear before the committee.
The vetting was announced in a post on the Parliament of Ghana’s official Facebook page on Sunday, 19th January 2025.
So far, three of President Mahama’s ministerial nominees—Finance Minister-designate Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, Energy Minister-designate John Jinapor, and Attorney General-designate Dr. Dominic Ayine—have faced the committee.
