Asante Kotoko has officially announced the signing of forward Isaac Mintah on a two-and-a-half-year contract, following the successful completion of his medical.

The 26-year-old joins the Porcupine Warriors with a strong track record, having previously played for Legon Cities and Aduana Stars.

Mintah comes off a standout 2023/24 league season, where he netted 9 goals and provided 3 assists in just 11 matches, solidifying his reputation as one of the most lethal forwards in the league.

Upon finalizing his move, Mintah expressed his excitement, saying, “I’m so happy to join Kotoko; it’s a huge moment in my career. This club has a strong winning mentality, and I’m ready to be part of that.”

He also acknowledged the competition for spots in the squad, especially in the attacking line, stating, “I know there’s a lot of competition for places here, especially in the attacking areas, but that only motivates me to push harder and improve every day.

“I’m here to give my best, help the team, and contribute to the success of this great club,” he added.

It remains uncertain whether Mintah will feature in the upcoming Matchday 17 clash against Vision FC at Baba Yara Stadium.
