The National Nawuri Caucus of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has praised President John Dramani Mahama’s appointment of Ali Adolf as the Northern Regional Minister-designate.
The caucus described the appointee, who is also the Northern Regional NDC Chairman, as hard-working and a unifier, expressing optimism that he will drive change in the region.
Speaking in an interview with Adom News, the National PRO, Rubben Damba, appealed to Parliament’s Appointment Committee to approve Mr. Adolf so he can begin his work without delay.
On behalf of the caucus, Mr. Damba also expressed gratitude to President Mahama and the party executives for their continued support.
“We are excited and thankful to President John Dramani Mahama for this great honor done to the Northern Regional Minister, and as a caucus, we assure the regional minister of our full support,” he said.
Some caucus members have expressed hope that, if approved, Mr. Ali Adolf will secure job opportunities for the youth.
