Linda Ocloo will perform better than Amerley Tagoe – Ashie Moore

Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, is confident that Ministerial-nominee Linda Ocloo will do exploits.

According to him, the Shai Osudoku MP will perform better than the late former Ablekuma South MP, Theresa Amerley Tagoe, who also served as a Deputy Greater Accra Regional Minister.

Speaking on Adom FM’s Burning Issues, the former Adentan MP eulogized Amerley Tagoe as one of the best Regional Ministers Greater Accra has ever had.

However, Nii Ashie Moore said he has no doubt Linda Ocloo will do better than her.

“For me, looking at her—very young, a third-term MP, very vibrant, knowledgeable, and having her party in power with good policies for women—Linda Ocloo will do well and perform better than Amerley Tagoe,” Nii Ashie Moore told Akua Boakyewaa Yiadom.

He added that the silence since her nomination is an indication that the people of Greater Accra know her expertise and trust her to perform.

Linda Ocloo is currently serving her third term as an MP.

Amerley Tagoe was also elected as the Ablekuma South Constituency representative in 1997.

Despite being a Deputy Regional Minister, she earned the admiration of many for her hard work.

As a staunch NPP member, she blazed the trail for generations of female politicians.

In honor of her memory, the Dansoman Roundabout has been named after her, with a statue also mounted.
