The Concerned Youth Force of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Kwahu Afram Plains South, Eastern Region, has petitioned the constituency executives to suspend the Deputy Youth Organizer, Ebenezer Donkor, citing misconduct.
The petition, presented by Ernest Opoku to party executives at Tease, accuses Donkor of multiple offenses, including:
- Discussing internal party matters on radio
- Allegedly stealing bags of rice meant for the 2024 general elections
- Being involved in a theft incident at a supermarket
- Publicly assaulting and insulting party executives, including the chairman, treasurer, and women’s organizer
Speaking to Adom News, Mr. Opoku called on the executives to address the matter urgently, warning that delays could lead to the youth taking matters into their own hands.
In response, Constituency Chairman Israel Kofi Naadow acknowledged receipt of the petition and assured the youth that the executives were already investigating the allegations.
He urged them to remain calm and avoid taking the law into their own hands while the party resolves the issue.
The incident has sparked tension within the constituency, with many awaiting the party’s decision on the allegations.
