Eco Aid Foundation spreads Christmas cheer to over 5,000 widows and differently-abled persons in Kumasi

Eco Aid foundation led by construction expert and entrepreneur, Emmanuel Aboagye has displayed kindness and generosity, by bringing joy to over 5,000 widows and differently abled persons in the Ashanti Region as part their Christmas celebration.

The construction expert, known popularly as Aboagye the contractor together with his wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Lois Aboagye have long been known for their philanthropic efforts over the years, supporting the less privileged in society.

The couple distributed cash and food items including 5kg bags of rice, oil, Sardine, and other essential goods to these vulnerable individuals, putting smiles on their faces and warmth in their hearts.

The event, which took place on December 28, 2024, at the KNUST Parade grounds, was a testament to Mr. Aboagye’s commitment to giving back to the society.

The entrepreneur, who has made a name for himself in the construction industry, has always been passionate about supporting those in need.

“I believe that everyone deserves to experience the joy and love of Christmas, regardless of their circumstances,” he said.

He added “I feel it is my responsibility to use my resources to make a positive impact on the lives of others.”

The recipients of Mr. Aboagye’s kindness were overwhelmed with gratitude, thanking him and his foundation for his generosity and thoughtfulness.

Many of them expressed that this was the first time they had received such support, and that it would go a long way in making their Christmas celebrations more meaningful.

“This is a blessing from God,” said a widow who received support from Mr. Aboagye.

“I was struggling to make ends meet, but this support will help me take care of my children and celebrate Christmas,” she added.

As the Christmas season comes to a close, the generosity of Eco Aid Foundation led by Mr. Aboagye and his family, serves as a shining example of the true spirit of the holiday.
