President Nana Akufo-Addo has expressed gratitude to Ghanaians for the opportunity to lead and serve the nation for the past eight years.
In his final Christmas message as President on December 24, 2024, Akufo-Addo noted that serving in the highest position of the land was the greatest honour in his life.
He highlighted the importance of his role and the achievements of his tenure.
“As I approach the conclusion of my tenure as your president, I want to speak from the heart and say, thank you. Serving as the leader of our beloved country has been the greatest honour of my life,” he said.
Akufo-Addo also touched on the collective efforts that resulted in remarkable achievements.
“Together we have achieved remarkable milestones. We have expanded access to education, strengthened the healthcare system, invested in infrastructure, revitalized agriculture, accelerated the industrial transformation of the economy, and worked tirelessly to secure a brighter future for our children,” he added.
