There would be dumsor, hardships soon – NPP’s Owusu-Bempah predicts

The Deputy National Communications Officer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ernest Owusu-Bempah, has warned that Ghanaians will soon regret choosing John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) over Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s presidential candidate, in the 2024 elections.

In an interview on Oyerepa TV, Mr. Owusu-Bempah predicted that Mahama’s government would lead the country into severe economic hardships.

He further claimed that Ghana would soon experience a return to the days of intermittent power supply, known as dumsor, under Mahama’s leadership.

“John Mahama will soon show Ghanaians the harsh reality. Expect dumsor to return, and prepare for serious economic struggles,” he warned. “Listen to me, I’m prophesying. The educational sector will also suffer, and they may struggle to fund the Free SHS program.”

Having worked with prominent leaders, Owusu-Bempah emphasized that there would be nothing new under Mahama’s presidency, expressing confidence in his prediction.
