Passengers traveling from Nkawkaw to Accra, Kumasi, and other destinations are currently stranded at the Nkawkaw new station.
The station master, however, has assured that all passengers will be served.
As Christmas approaches, many people are traveling to and from various places to celebrate the season.
At the Nkawkaw new station and old Kumasi station, long queues of passengers waiting for buses have formed.
Speaking to Kofi Asante, the station master for Nkawkaw-Kasoa emphasized that, despite the large number of stranded passengers, efforts are underway to ensure that everyone reaches their destination.
“We are looking forward to taking every passenger to his or her destination. I appeal to everyone to exercise patience” he assured.
He further described this year’s Christmas as particularly eventful due to the high volume of travelers heading to their hometowns.
