We can achieve great things if the puzzle is solved – West Ham Mohammed Kudus

West Ham United forward Mohammed Kudus is confident that the team can achieve great things, given the quality within the squad.

The Ghanaian international made the statement following the Hammers’ 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday at the London Olympic Stadium.

Speaking after the match, the 24-year-old expressed his belief that with their talent, West Ham has the potential to accomplish big things if they continue to come together as a team.

“We’re together as a group, and I think we’re getting there. We have a lot of quality, and I think there is a lot that we can achieve,” he told the club website.

“It’s about completing the puzzle together, and hopefully, we can do better again in the next game,” he added.

Brighton took the lead shortly after halftime when Mats Wieffer scored his first goal for the club. Pervis Estupinan delivered a high ball into the box, which was only partially cleared by goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, allowing the Dutch midfielder to capitalize and slot the ball home near the penalty spot.

However, West Ham equalized just seven minutes later. Jarrod Bowen manoeuvred his way forward before having his shot parried by Brighton’s keeper Bart Verbruggen, with Kudus on hand to head in the rebound.

Next, West Ham United will travel to St. Mary’s to take on Southampton in their upcoming Premier League fixture.
