Ablakwa excited about some NPP stalwarts’ support for ORAL

-

The Chairperson of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) initiative, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, is excited about the growing support and enthusiasm among some New Patriotic Party(NPP) stalwarts.

In a Facebook post, the North Tongu MP highlighted ORAL’s critical role in ensuring that public resources benefit all Ghanaians.

He shared screenshots of headlines in which former Obuasi East NPP MP, Edward Ennin expressed readiness to give evidence of where looted assets are kept and former NPP General Secretary, Nana Obiri Boahen also commended the initiative.

He emphasised that the initiative is not a partisan effort but a national cause to protect Ghana’s resources.

“Great to see more NPP stalwarts support Mahama’s Operation-Recover-All-Loot (ORAL).
Predictably, all Ghanaians who were not part of the notorious NPP looting brigade are excited about ORAL. Nothing will stop the people’s ORAL!” he stated.

Mr Ablakwa further assured that the team would remain resolute in its mission, irrespective of political affiliations.

He therefore called on all well-meaning Ghanaians to support the team by providing credible information on suspected cases of misappropriation.

Meanwhile, the team on Friday, December 20 received the full dossier on the National Service ghost names scandal which conservative estimates indicate has cost Ghana over GHS500million.
