The Ghana CSOs Platform has announced a new leadership aimed at strengthening civil society coordination in the pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The announcement follows a rigorous selection process that took place from January to October 2024 during which new leaders were elected for all 18 National Sub-Platforms and 16 Districts.
This was contained in a statement signed by Levlyn Konadu Asiedu, the Secretary of the Ghana CSOs Platform on Tuesday, December 16, 2024.
The statement noted the Platform has successfully held its handing over and induction ceremony for its newly elected Co-Chairs and Steering Committee at the UNDP Conference Room in Accra.
The event marks a significant milestone in the Platform’s journey to strengthen civil society coordination in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Ghana.
The highlight of the event was the formal farewell to the outgoing Steering Committee and Co- Chairs, whose dedicated service has been instrumental in advancing the Platform’s objectives.
