The Neoplan Drivers Union of GPRTU, in collaboration with VIP TUC Kumasi, has commissioned a modern six-unit classroom block for the Save Our Lives Ghana Educational Centre in Anwia Nkwanta.
The commissioning ceremony, held in the Bekwai District of the Ashanti Region brought together community leaders, education stakeholders, and members of the transport unions.
The initiative aims to address infrastructural challenges at the educational centre, which serves students from the Save Our Lives Ghana community and surrounding areas.
The newly constructed classroom block features spacious rooms, improved ventilation, and modern amenities to enhance the learning environment for students.
The facility is expected to significantly reduce overcrowding and provide a more conducive space for education.
Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the Neoplan Drivers Union of GPRTU expressed his pride in the union’s role in improving lives through education and thanked all stakeholders who supported the initiative.
Residents and parents of students at the Save Our Lives Ghana Educational Centre expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the intervention.
This initiative is part of the Neoplan Drivers Union and VIP TUC Kumasi’s broader efforts to support underprivileged communities. Both organizations have pledged to continue investing in projects that promote education, health, and vocational training to foster holistic development in the region.
