Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri constituency Frank Annoh-Dompreh has been seen in a viral video walking away from a bailiff who attempted to serve him a writ of summons.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate, Amenorpe Philbert Fummey, has sued the Electoral Commission (EC) seeking a fresh election in the constituency.
In a writ, the plaintiff, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, the NPP parliamentary candidate, is a defendant.
The plaintiff accused the EC of collating the results for the constituency using invalid statements of results (pink sheets).
The suit was filed at the Accra High Court today, Friday, December 13, by Mr Fummey’s lawyer, Godwin Edudzi Kudzo Tameklo, who is also the Director of Legal of the NDC.
In a video shared on X by Accra-based TV3, the Majority Chief Whip was seen with the bailiff, who announced the reason for his presence.
However, Annor-Dompreh, was heard saying “If you are doing your job, do your job,” as he walked off.
