Hearts of Oak coach, Aboubakar Ouattara has expressed confidence ahead of their upcoming match against Asante Kotoko, aiming for a positive outcome.
The Phobians will face their rivals at Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday for Matchday 13, with the game set to kick off at 15:00 GMT.
In an interview ahead of the highly anticipated fixture, the Ivorian manager highlighted his team’s resilience in tough matches this season.
“Every time, we are motivated, and this season, we’ve played the hard matches before Kotoko. The venues which are difficult to get points, we made it,” Ouattara told 3Sports.
He stressed the importance of a strong performance in the match, saying, “For the players, and me particularly, we need to play well first of all and possibly get the three points, or bring one point. And still, now, we are ahead of them.”
Asante Kotoko currently sits 7th with 18 points, while Hearts of Oak are in 6th place with 19 points.
