The Head of Sporting Affairs for Asante Kotoko, Kwesi Appiah is confident his side will secure a win against Hearts of Oak in the upcoming Super Clash.
The two most prominent clubs in Ghana will face off in Matchday 13 of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
Although Kotoko recently ended a five-match winless streak with a victory over Aduana Stars, Appiah believes the Porcupine Warriors will overcome their fierce rivals.
“The performance of these two teams were up there. Asante Kotoko went five games without a win but they finally returned to winning ways so I believe it will be a competitive game,” Appiah, who also serves as the head coach of Sudan, told Asempa FM‘s Ultimate Sports Show.
He added, “I believe that the team that prepares well will win but I believe that with Asante Kotoko playing at home, they will win against Hearts of Oak.”
The match is set to kick off at 15:00 GMT on Sunday.
