Ghana Premier League club Aduana Stars has named Romanian coach Cioaba Aristica as their new head coach.
The Dormaa-based team announced the appointment on their official Facebook page on Tuesday, December 10.
“Aristica is home. Welcome back, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐛𝐚.” the club announced.
This decision comes after Aduana Stars parted ways with former coach Yaw Acheampong due to poor results in the ongoing 2024/25 season.
Under Acheampong’s leadership, the team struggled, managing just two wins, six draws, and four losses in 12 games.
Currently sitting in 13th place on the league table with 12 points, the Fire Boys are looking to turn their season around under the guidance of Aristica, who has previously worked with the club.
Cioaba Aristica is set to take charge for the team’s Matchday 13 clash against Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park.
The club, two-time winners of the Ghana Premier League, hopes the return of Aristica will reignite their campaign and improve their standings in the domestic league.
