Independent presidential candidate and leader of the New Force Movement, Nana Kwame Bediako, has extended his congratulations to former President John Dramani Mahama on his victory in the 2024 elections.
Speaking at a press conference in Accra today, December 9, Mr. Bediako commended the new government on its achievement while emphasizing that significant challenges still lie ahead.
“There are crises we are facing, and we should never expect anyone from outside to solve them. It must be done by us,” he stated. Expressing his readiness to support the Mahama administration, Mr. Bediako added, “Whatever they need me for and whatever I can do to contribute to this country, just count me in. I am here to help make this nation a better place and to support him in any way I can.”
The New Force Movement leader also expressed heartfelt appreciation to Ghanaians for the support he received during the elections.
“It is not easy for people to give me their votes without any monetary incentive, but you did, and I am so grateful. We are not the New Force without Ghanaians—Ghanaians made us,” he remarked.
He assured the public of his unwavering commitment, saying, “You did not give up on me, and I will not give up on you. I will always stand by you. Don’t give up, because I’ll never give up.”
