Felix Kwakye Ofosu wins Abura Asebu Kwamankese seat

Felix Ofosu Kwakye has won the Abura Asebu Kwamankese constituency for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 election.

The provisional results suggest the former Deputy Information Minister has garnered 30,249 from 161 polling stations out of 164.

The New Patriotic Party(NPP) candidate, Eric Etodur Nyanteh, secured 18,918 votes.

For the Presidential results, the NDC’s flagbearer, John Mahama obtained 21, 249 votes from 161 polling stations while the NPP’s Dr Mahamudu Bawumia polled 13,383 votes.

Mr Kwakye in 2020 contested the election but lost to the then MP and NPP candidate, Elvis Morris Donkor.
