The Electoral Commission (EC) in Adansi Asokwa has relocated its collation center from the Asokwa D/A JHS to the District Court.
During a visit to the new location, EC officer Anastasia Nketia explained to Adom News that the change was made based on advice from security personnel, who deemed the old center insecure.
The new facility at the District Court is reportedly more secure and equipped with features such as a fence wall, a standby generator, and designated areas for the media, observers, and party agents, ensuring a smoother collation process.
The EC assures stakeholders that the new location will enhance the safety and efficiency of the electoral process.
