Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said he is satisfied with the general mood of the country for the December 7, 2024 election.
The Vice President has also said he is impressed with how citizens are determined to cast their ballot to make a decision.
“So far from what I hear around the country, there is calm, there is very little tension I can see around the country. I gather that people were queuing from midnight across the country, which shows enthusiasm,” he told journalists after casting his ballot in Walewale of the North East region.
Asked about his expected margin of victory he responded, “A victory is a victory, we just want to win, and by the grace of God will win.”
Except for a few delays witnessed in parts of the country, voting largely began at 7:00 am is expected to end at 5:00pm.
