Matchday 15 of the 2024-25 Premier League season will be headlined by the grudge match between London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, as well as the Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool.

Everton will welcome Liverpool to Goodison Park on the early afternoon of Saturday 7 December, as the Toffees look to get one over Arne Slot’s title-chasing Reds. The Dutch manager will be making his Merseyside derby debut and is looking forward to the challenge.
“All these clubs that are playing in this league, they are able to win so many games as well, and that’s what they have shown in the last few seasons. So, we are only focused on ourselves,” said Slot.
Saturday’s late afternoon games feature Aston Villa at home to Southampton, Newcastle United visiting Brentford and champions Manchester City chasing three points at Selhurst Park against Crystal Palace, while the early-evening kick-off comes from Old Trafford, as Manchester United host Nottingham Forest.
Forest have been one of the surprise packages of the season and will be looking to claim a major scalp at the ‘Theatre of Dreams’. “It reflects the hard work but it’s more important that we remain humble,” said manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
“Ambition is good, demanding is good but it can’t get us off track. We have to stay humble, remain humble and realise that we haven’t achieved nothing yet. To achieve things we have to demand them. We have to recognise that a lot of mistakes have been made and that we have to correct them.”
Sunday’s action features a London derby between Fulham and Arsenal, Leicester City host Brighton & Hove Albion and Bournemouth will visit Ipswich Town, before Tottenham Hotspur host Chelsea for one of the league’s most febrile match-ups.
The Blues claimed a ‘double’ over Spurs last season, and Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou will be determined to turn that around come Sunday evening.
“My responsibility is preparing the team every game to make sure we reach certain levels. We didn’t do it [against Chelsea last season] so that lies on my feet and I’ve got to fix that,” said the Australian.
The round closes out on Monday night with West Ham United hosting Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium.
