Obuasi West PC pledges fruit juice factory, museum to boost local development

-

Obuasi West Independent Parliamentary Candidate, Kofi Appianin Ennin, has pledged to establish a fruit juice factory and a museum in Obuasi to create jobs for the youth and drive local development.

The promise was made during a boxing competition he organized in the constituency to uncover and nurture young boxing talents.

Speaking to Adom News correspondent Isaac K. Normanyo after the event, Kofi Ennin stressed his commitment to empowering the youth. He explained that the proposed factory and museum would offer sustainable employment opportunities while promoting the constituency’s heritage.

The boxing competition, he noted, aimed to provide a productive avenue for young people who might otherwise channel their energy into unproductive fights.

He urged the youth to draw inspiration from Ghanaian boxing icon Azumah Nelson, who turned his strength and talent into a successful career that brought pride to himself and the nation.

Ennin used the opportunity to caution against election-related violence, advocating instead for peace and constructive pursuits like sports.

The candidate appealed to voters to select him, number three on the ballot, to bring meaningful development to Obuasi West.
