NDC campaign not about funfair, but serious issues – Otokunor [Listen]

-

Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2024 Manifesto Planning Committee, Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor, has stated that the NDC’s campaign this time is not about funfair but focuses on serious issues.

According to him, while the party’s songs may be catchy, the core of their campaign is the message, which has been well understood by the public.

“It’s a serious issue. We have important matters to discuss, and people are concerned. The key thing that has driven our campaign is our message, and everyone has understood it” he said in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Tuesday.

Dr. Otokunor said the issues facing Ghana require workable solutions.

“For the past four years, the NDC team has been working tirelessly, engaging with organizations across the country to understand their concerns and aspirations for Ghana’s progress” he said.

He noted that, their campaign is well-targeted and inclusive, reaching out to all segments of the population, including those who are apolitical, to share their vision.

“The NDC has focused on key sectors such as education, health, agriculture, and other important areas. Reaching out to more people has taken our campaign to a different level” he stressed.
