Dan Botwe, Chairman of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign, has jabbed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for failing to outline a clear and practical vision for Ghana should they win the upcoming elections.
Speaking at a recent event, Mr. Botwe described the NDC’s proposed 24-hour economy policy as “hollow” and “lacking substance.”
He questioned the feasibility of the idea, arguing that the NDC has not demonstrated an understanding of how such a policy would work in practice.
“How do they plan to implement this so-called 24-hour economy? They themselves don’t even seem to understand it. Their policy doesn’t give any hope because it’s unclear, impractical, and lacks the detail necessary to convince anyone it can work” he said in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Monday.
Mr. Botwe further challenged the NDC to provide concrete solutions rather than vague promises.
“This election is about the future of the youth and the country. We cannot afford to toy with that future. If you want to lead, bring us a clear, convincing plan, not empty rhetoric,” he stated.
He also noted that, the NDC has yet to present a comprehensive outline of what they would do if elected.
“They haven’t said what they will do when they come to power. Leadership is about vision and action, not just talking,” he added.
The Bawumia campaign chairman urged Ghanaians to critically assess policies and focus on practical solutions for national development.
“We are offering Ghanaians the chance to serve this country with a forward-looking agenda. The future is at stake, and the choice must be based on substance, not slogans,” Mr. Botwe added.
