The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has dismissed recent media reports alleging a scaling down of operations by power plants, describing the claims as false and urging the public to disregard them.
In a statement, the company reiterated its commitment to providing reliable and stable electricity across the country.
“The company is always collaborating with all its power producers and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) and constantly resolving day-to-day operational issues as they arise,” the statement read.
ECG emphasized its dedication to maintaining uninterrupted service for its cherished customers and the general public.
The company assured citizens of its close collaboration with power producers and reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a steady electricity supply nationwide.
The ECG called for calm and trust in its operations as it continues to prioritize the needs of its customers.
