Francis Senanu Dekutse, a prominent business tycoon and key figure in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) campaign logistics, youth, and finance committees in the Volta Region, has urged residents—especially those in coastal and farming communities—to rally behind the NDC in the upcoming elections.

Speaking in the Keta Constituency, Dekutse emphasized that under the leadership of John Dramani Mahama, the party is committed to harnessing local resources and implementing transformative policies to improve livelihoods and drive regional development.

During his campaign tour of the Keta Constituency, Francis Senanu Dekutse addressed residents with passion, stressing the critical need for their support.

He highlighted the region’s untapped natural resources, including oil, salt, and minerals, underscoring the NDC’s commitment to harnessing these assets for economic growth.

Dekutse emphasized that an NDC-led government would prioritize investment in these sectors, particularly in salt mining, to create jobs and boost the local economy.

He assured residents that under John Dramani Mahama’s leadership, there would be strategic interventions aimed at maximizing the potential of these resources, ensuring that the benefits would directly impact local communities.

At the heart of Dekutse’s message was the NDC’s “24-Hour Economy” policy, which he described as a game-changing initiative aimed at revitalizing the nation’s economic landscape. According to Dekutse, this policy will improve working conditions and create more employment opportunities, ultimately lifting the living standards of Ghanaians.

Dekutse also emphasized the untapped potential for growth in fish farming and aquaculture along the coastal areas. He outlined the NDC’s plans to introduce modern facilities and provide technical training for fisherfolk and business owners.

These initiatives, he said, would enhance skills, boost productivity, and promote financial independence in these communities.

Dekutse’s message resonated with many residents, who expressed optimism about the NDC’s policies and vision for the region. Several community members voiced confidence in John Dramani Mahama’s leadership and their hope for a resounding victory that would bring the promised development and improved livelihoods.

Residents, particularly in coastal and farming areas, emphasized the urgent need for government support to modernize their industries and create sustainable economic opportunities. They believe that the NDC’s proposed initiatives, if implemented, could transform the region into an economic hub, reduce poverty, and drive progress.

Francis Senanu Dekutse, a former staff of UNESCO, UNHCR, and the EU Election Observation Mission, and now a businessman, concluded his address with a passionate appeal for unity and collective effort. He urged all residents of the Volta Region to actively campaign and vote for the NDC, stressing that their support is crucial to bringing about the change that Ghana needs.

He reiterated that a vote for John Dramani Mahama and NDC parliamentary candidates would pave the way for a brighter future, marked by prosperity, equity, and sustainable development.

As the campaign gains momentum, the people of the Volta Region stand at a crossroads, hopeful that their choice in the upcoming election will set the stage for a transformative era under NDC leadership.
