NDC campaign in Keta: Francis Senanu Dekutse urges unity and massive support for December 7 elections

A key figure in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Volta Region, Francis Senanu Dekutse, has called on constituents in the Keta Municipality, particularly those in Aborlove, Nolopi, and Havedzi, to put aside any misunderstandings and rally behind the NDC in the upcoming December 7 general elections.

He emphasized that unity within the constituency is crucial for achieving “a better Ghana we can all boast of.”

During a series of engagements over the weekend, Mr. Dekutse stressed the importance of prioritizing the collective future over individual grievances. He urged constituents to disregard any suggestions of voting “skirt and blouse”—a term referring to splitting votes between parliamentary and presidential candidates from different parties.

According to Dekutse, such voting patterns would hinder the area’s development.

NDC’s Vision for Development

Dekutse highlighted that the NDC remains the only political party with the welfare of the Volta Region and the entire country at heart.

He assured the constituents that an NDC government would revive the era of massive development initiatives the region witnessed in the past.

He mentioned key areas such as job creation, healthcare, education, and infrastructure as top priorities in the party’s development agenda.

“The NDC is committed to ensuring that no Ghanaian is left behind, especially in terms of employment opportunities, quality healthcare, and accessible education,” Dekutse stated. He expressed confidence that the party’s comprehensive development plans would significantly improve the lives of people in the region and beyond.

Campaign Tour and Donations

As part of the NDC’s outreach efforts, the Volta Regional Campaign Committee, led by Dekutse, visited several wards in the Keta Constituency to commend supporters for their dedication and encourage them to intensify their efforts for a resounding NDC victory.

The wards visited included Hatorgodo, Lawushime, Aborlove, Nolopi, Seva, Konu, Anyako, Dzelukope-Fugo, Dzelukope-Amugo, Havedzi, and Horvi.

During the tour, the committee distributed 1,000 party-branded T-shirts and 250 scarves to supporters and stakeholders.

Dekutse assured constituents that the campaign team would cover all remaining wards before the elections, reinforcing the party’s commitment to grassroots engagement.

Campaign Team and Support

Dekutse was accompanied by several prominent NDC members, including Cde. Emmanuel Awlavi (Esq.), a committee member; Cde. Michael Nutsugah, Deputy Constituency Organizer; Cde. Mawutor Ayitey (Master Pee); Cde. Philip Abotsi; and Cde. Wonder Deynu, Deputy Constituency Communication Officer.

The campaign team expressed gratitude to Cde. Mrs. Enyonam Apetorgbor for her generous contributions, which significantly supported the tour.

A Call for Dedication

In his closing remarks, Dekutse urged all NDC supporters to stay focused and united as the elections approach.

“Let us continue pushing forward. Victory is within reach! Ele Zu! Ele Za!!” he declared, rallying the crowd with the party’s slogan.

As the campaign intensifies, the NDC remains steadfast in its mission to secure a decisive victory in the Keta Constituency and beyond, promising a future of prosperity and inclusivity for all Ghanaians.
