Hearts of Oak head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, has expressed his team’s determination to secure all three points in their highly anticipated clash against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko.
The two giants of Ghanaian football will face off on Matchday 13 of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League, with the Porcupine Warriors hosting the Phobians at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
Speaking after Hearts’ 1-1 draw with Nsoatreman FC on Matchday 12, Ouattara reaffirmed his confidence in his squad’s ability to triumph.
“Why not? Why not? Why not? Do you think we’re going there to play for a draw?” the Ivorian coach remarked emphatically.
“I want the three points! This is Hearts of Oak. We are determined to make our fans proud,” he added.
Asante Kotoko, on the other hand, head into the Super Clash buoyed by a much-needed victory over Aduana FC at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Sunday, ending a streak of four consecutive defeats.
