The vice presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, on Friday, November 22, marked her birthday with a donation the Nyohini Children’s Home at Yipalain Tamale.
The former Education Minister presented bags of rice, cooking oil, biscuits, soft drinks, toiletries and GH₵10,000 to the orphanage.
The birthday coincided with Prof. Opoku-Agyeman’s campaign tour of the Northern Region ahead of the December 7 election.
She urged the managers of the orphanage to continue taking good care of the children and pledged her continuous support.
As part of the birthday celebration, a similar donation was presented on Prof. Opoku-Agyemang’s behalf to the Ankaful Leprosarium in the Central Region.
