Ghanaian actress Gifty Kodia is poised to make history as she embarks on an ambitious journey to break the Guinness World Record for the longest baking marathon.
The bake-a-thon, will take place at the Legon Mall for five days, from November 25th to 30th, 2024.
The current record, held by Irish chef Alan Fisher, was set in Matsue, Shimane, Japan, where he baked for 47 hours, 21 minutes, and 21 seconds from September 25th to 27th, 2023.
Gifty, however, is aiming to push the limits with an astounding 120-hour baking marathon.
This extraordinary challenge not only highlights Gifty’s passion and dedication to her craft but also aims to put Ghana on the global culinary map.
Gifty revealed she applied November last year, but was given the nod mid 2024.
Fans, supporters, and baking enthusiasts are invited to witness this monumental event and cheer her on as she bakes her way into the record books.
