The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Vice-Presidential candidate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, is set to begin a campaign tour of the Upper West Region on Tuesday, November 19.
This follows her recent tours across northern Ghana to rally support for the NDC’s presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, and the party’s parliamentary hopefuls ahead of the December 7, 2024, elections.
During her two-day visit, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will engage voters in key constituencies, including Wa Central, Lambussie, Nandom, Lawra, and Sissala.
She is expected to conclude her Upper West Region tour on Wednesday and will continue to the Northern Region on Thursday to begin her next leg of campaign activities.
Last week, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang toured the North East and Savannah Regions, where she encouraged voters to support John Mahama.
She emphasized his commitment to addressing challenges under the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration, enhancing education, creating jobs, and empowering women economically.
