Election 2024: Jefferson Sackey vows to open doors for youth in Ablekuma Central

-

An aspiring parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Ablekuma Central, Jefferson Kwamena Sackey, has expressed his commitment to empowering the youth, which he believes is key to winning the 2024 elections and driving development in the constituency.

Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Mr Sackey noted that many young people in the community lack opportunities and support to improve their lives.

“There are ghettos filled with young people over 40 years old who have no one to open doors for them. When I become MP, the youth of Ablekuma Central will be my priority.”

In his view, winning the elections requires teamwork and collaboration.

“I alone cannot win the elections. I need your support to make this vision a reality,” he urged his supporters.

Mr. Sackey expressed confidence in his chances.

“I have the conviction that I will win the elections. The 2024 election will go to the NPP. I have all the qualities it takes, such as strong communication skills, which my opponent lacks. Having worked in several communication agencies, I know I can be the voice of my people and speak for their needs,” he said.

He also described himself as a skilled lobbyist with the ability to attract development to the constituency.

“I am connected and capable of securing the necessary resources to advance businesses and improve the lives of my people. For instance, I have already placed 100 dustbins at vantage points to tackle sanitation issues.”

On stalled projects in the constituency, he promised to ensure their completion.

“There are significant deficiencies in development here. Every project that has been abandoned by previous governments, I will ensure it is completed.”

Mr. Sackey, who currently serves as Deputy Director of Communications at the Office of the President, assured his supporters of a resounding victory for the NPP in the constituency.

“My candidacy represents new hope and energy. I am a bridge bringing people from across the divide into the NPP family to secure the greatest victory margin the party has ever seen in this constituency,” he declared.

He also pledged targeted support for business owners, particularly in Abossey Okai.

“I will work to advance businesses in Abossey Okai and beyond, providing the needed assistance to grow the local economy,” he pledged.
