2024 Polls: Reject Mahama; NPP has outperformed him – Bawumia

-

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has questioned John Dramani Mahama’s decision to contest the 2024 presidential election.

During a campaign tour, Dr. Bawumia asserted that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer was rejected in the 2020 elections due to what he described as a lackluster performance during his tenure as president.

Highlighting the achievements of the NPP government, Dr. Bawumia claimed that their administration has delivered superior results across various sectors, offering Ghanaians better governance.

He urged voters to reject Mr. Mahama and the NDC in the upcoming December 7 general elections, advocating for the continuation of progress under the NPP.

“We have built more interchanges, hospitals, schools, public libraries, fish landing sites, and sanitation facilities than you.

“We have built more astroturfs, sports facilities, and provided more equipment for the police, military, and navy than you.

“In every part of the economy, we have made significant strides. We restored the teacher and nursing training allowances and introduced free technical and vocational education,” Dr. Bawumia emphasized.
