The Member of Parliament (MP) for Achiase, Kofi Ahenkorah-Marfo, has called on Ghanaians to vote massively for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on December 7.
The MP, who also serves as a Deputy Trade Minister, is confident that the NPP’s track record has been impressive and that it deserves another term to continue its transformational agenda.
Aside from the developmental infrastructure at the national level, Mr. Ahenkorah-Marfo stated that he has personally impacted and transformed lives in Achiase due to the opportunity to serve in the ruling government.
He was speaking on Adom 106.3 FM’s The Big Debate segment during the station’s award-winning morning show Dwaso Nsem.
The MP said he has implemented several social intervention policies and executed many infrastructural projects to set Achiase on the right path.
Despite the significant gains the NPP has made, Mr. Ahenkorah-Marfo noted that there is still a lot to be done.
“The work I have done in the last four years is impressive, and I will plead with the people of Achiase to give us another term.
“I have witnessed the hardship people are going through in Achiase, and I am committed to continuing the transformation agenda with the skills and knowledge I have acquired through my time at the Trade Ministry,” he said.
Among his successes, he mentioned that youth employment and development are priorities for him, which his track record can attest to.
“We have trained 2,000 people under the Ghana Enterprises Agency and provided them with start-up kits. Some are plumbers, electricians, hairdressers, seamstresses, bakers, among others, who are all now gainfully employed,” he stated.
