Jordan Ayew, alongside several other players, has joined the Black Stars camp, bringing the squad count to 22 as preparations ramp up for the final two 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Among those arriving on Tuesday were Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen, Alidu Seidu, Kingsley Schindler, Terry Yegbe, Francis Abu, Forson Amankwah, Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer, Ibrahim Sulemana, Ernest Nuamah, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Nathaniel Adjei, and Michael Baidoo. Their arrival follows Monday’s training session, which saw just eight players in attendance.
Key players such as Mohammed Kudus and Gideon Mensah participated in the first session at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Ebenezer Annan is expected to join the camp later this evening.
The Black Stars will have their final training session at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday night before flying to Luanda on Wednesday for their match against Angola.
Ghana will face Angola on Friday, November 15, at the Estádio 11 de Novembro and conclude their qualifiers at home against Niger on Monday, November 18, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Currently, Ghana is third in Group F with only two points from four matches. With qualification no longer entirely in their hands, the Black Stars must secure victories in both remaining matches while hoping that Sudan, with seven points, loses both of their final games.
