The presidential candidate and founder of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Christian Kwabena Andrews, popularly known as Sofo Kyiri Abosom, has stated that his party is the only one capable of helping the country.
He believes that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has mismanaged the country, and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is not a better alternative.
With 26 days to the December 7 election, various political parties are on their campaign trails, urging Ghanaians to vote for them in hopes of securing more votes.
Speaking to Adom News, Mr. Andrews accused the NPP and NDC of pursuing their personal interests rather than those of Ghanaians.
“I want every Ghanaian to note and know very well that these two major political parties, both the NPP and NDC, have failed this country and have nothing more to offer.
“They only come to steal, kill, and destroy, and should not be given another chance because they have had this country for so long, yet the country remains stagnant in development,” he said.
He added, “Since the regime of the late President Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings to date, these parties have only come to steal our resources.”
He further urged journalists to convey his message to the youth, emphasizing that the hardships they face today are caused by the two major political parties.
