The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the Tema Central Constituency, Charles Forson, has expressed his commitment to improving the lives of constituents when elected.
Speaking in an interview on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem on Friday, Forson stated that the government has made significant strides, and he will ensure continuity.
The candidate added he has the interest of his constituents at heart and he does not live off people or rely on businessmen for support.
“I don’t live off people; I am not a businessman. I’m a homeboy who accommodates almost everybody,” Forson said.
According to him, his focus is on serving the people of Tema Central, and he dismissed claims of arrogance, calling them “just propaganda.”
When asked what inspired his political journey, Forson touched on the challenges facing the youth in the constituency, particularly unemployment.
He said youth unemployment is a major challenge and expressed his readiness to tackle it head-on.
“The only contest is to win. We are not here to play games. It is about changing Tema Central and creating more opportunities for the youth. Youth unemployment is a challenge that I’m ready to cross, and we need to focus on providing more jobs for our young people,” Forson added.
Going forward, he stated that his focus is on making a positive impact on people’s lives.
“We are impacting people’s lives, and we are not ready to stop. My mission is to improve this community and provide the necessary resources and opportunities for the people of Tema Central,” he said.
