Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who is also the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, has extended support to the Tadzewu Zongo Muslim community in the Ketu North Municipality of the Volta Region, contributing materials essential for local development.
The items—100 bags of cement, a water pump, and a Polytank—were delivered on behalf of Dr. Bawumia by Enoch Kwabla Amegbletor, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Ketu North.
Mr. Amegbletor explained that the donation followed Dr. Bawumia’s recent visit to the community, during which leaders expressed a need for materials to improve their infrastructure.
“This contribution is not just a response to a request, but a promise that this government and our party are here to listen and deliver,” Mr. Amegbletor remarked.
The Tadzewu Zongo community leaders and residents expressed appreciation for the Vice President’s support, noting that the donation strengthens the connection between government and the people. The materials will aid local projects focused on improving infrastructure and water access.
Mr. Amegbletor highlighted the community’s joy, attributing it to the impact of responsive leadership. “The joy among the people here in Tadzewu shows that when leaders truly listen, it leads to real, meaningful change,” he stated. He further urged residents to support the NPP in the upcoming elections, assuring that the party remains committed to advancing development in Ketu North.
“I encourage all voters to stand with us as we work to bring positive change, ensuring that every community, like Tadzewu, receives the support and development it deserves,” he added. “With your support, we can secure victory for myself and Dr. Bawumia, and together, we will build a brighter future for Ketu North and all of Ghana.”
This gesture is part of the NPP’s ongoing efforts to uplift under-resourced communities and enhance infrastructure across the Volta Region, underscoring the party’s commitment to inclusive development and community empowerment.
