The ban will take effect from Monday, November 11, to Monday, November 25.

The directive was released in a statement signed by Torgbui Tali Gafatsi III, Chairman of this year’s Avenor Tutudoza Central Planning Committee.

“The Central Festival Planning Committee, in conjunction with the Avenor Traditional Council, hereby announces that the customary ban on all funerals and other forms of mass gatherings in Avenor land will take effect from Monday, November 11, to Monday, November 25,” it read.
