NDC hails Trump’s win, boosts party’s confidence for December 7 election

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has formally congratulated U.S. President-elect Donald J. Trump on his election victory which returns him to the White House after a four-year absence.

In a statement issued by NDC General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the party praised Trump’s decisive win as a symbol of renewed confidence in experienced leadership.

The NDC sees Trump’s return as a favorable sign for its own prospects in Ghana’s upcoming elections, drawing parallels between American voters’ choice for experienced governance and the current political climate in Ghana.

With Ghanaians preparing to vote on December 7, the NDC expressed optimism that citizens will reject what it described as the “eight years of insensitivity, corruption, and economic mismanagement” under the current government.

The NDC reiterated commitment to restoring stability, integrity, and hope to Ghana, promising to address critical national challenges if elected.
