The Ghana Police Service has announced that all is set for the medical examinations of successful applicants in this year’s recruitment exercise.
In a statement, the Service confirmed that the medical examinations will take place between Thursday, November 7, and Friday, November 8, 2024, adding that all qualified applicants have been notified through SMS messages.
The medical screenings will occur at six designated venues in Accra, including the Police Church premises near the 37 Military Hospital, the Police Church premises in Odorkor, the Police Interdenominational Church premises at Police Depot, Tesano, the Formed Police Unit (FPU) Headquarters at Police Depot, Tesano, the Detective Training School at Police Depot, Tesano, and the Police Academy at Police Depot, Tesano.
Additionally, the shortlisted applicants will bear the cost of the medical screening, which is set at GH¢980.
The Police Service has cautioned applicants against paying more than this stated amount to anyone for the medical screening process.
